Our Work

From feasibility studies to full-scale launches, from Tech start-ups to brand activation, the projects that Grovewood has either led or been a key part of have been hugely varied. Their common ground is that all are focused on the Retail and Hospitality sector. An overview of some of our work can be found below.

Za'ta, Pure & Simple Lebanese Food

Za'ta brings home-cooked, Lebanese food, cooked slowly, served quickly, to London's Baker Street Grovewood worked with the founder, Francis Zahar, to deliver an end to end solution, from feasibility through to store launch. Ed is Managing Partner and a shareholder in the business. Za'ta is now looking for its second location.

Café Blue, Sawley Marina

The café at Aquavista's Sawley Marina had lain empty since the start of Covid. Grovewood were bought on board to bring the Head of Marketing's vision to life. The project included financials forecast for board approval, store lay-out design, menu creation and costing, POS selection and set-up, full operational standards, GM recruitment, team training and launch.

Honey & Harvey

The Honey & Harvey brand has grown organically through acquisition Grovewood were approached to help formalise and document all operational standards, creating an Operations Manual for staff training and standards measurement. Delivered in just four weeks, we are now working with H&H on next steps.

Burgermeister

Burgermeister is a German, quality burger chain. Grovewood was commissioned by the master franchisees, for the UK and Greece, to deliver a full feasibility study on entering the UK.

Maison Routin

Ed started working with the International export team even before founding Grovewood. As part of our Brand Activation service, Grovewood have worked with Routin to increase their UK & Ireland sales volume through leveraging Ed's extensive F&B network.

Wasteless

Grovewood has worked with the Wasteless Senior Team on UK business development and investment fund-raising. Ed is a share-holder and partner in Wasteless.

OrderPay

OrderPay, a subsidiary of Checkfer Ltd, is a leading provider of order and payment solutions to the hospitality sector. Ed has been on the Checkfer board since 2018, supporting the management team with strategy, client acquisition and investment.

LoPay
