I founded Grovewood in 2018 after a career spanning more than 25 years, the majority in senior leadership roles in F&B retail and hospitality, including Head of Operations at Pret A Manger, Retail Director at EAT and Chief Operating Officer at RUSH.

I joined Pret as a Manager-in-Training when  they had just 32 shops.  I left ten years later as Head of Operations for Out of London, 45 shops that included all of Pret's airports and shopping centres.  Pret had over 150 shops at that point.  I was approached to join EAT as Head of Retail when they had 62 shops.  A year later, I was promoted to Retail Director and led the Operations team in doubling the size of the estate and a PE-backed MBO.  My career diverted into the Hair and Beauty sector when I joined LDC-backed RUSH as Chief Operating Officer, leading the Ops team through an intense period of growth and cultural change.

Working in predominantly Private Equity backed, fast growing businesses, I have significant experience in working start-ups, scale-ups and full-scale roll-outs.

As well as being Director at Grovewood, I am Managing Partner at Za'ta,  Non-Executive Director at Checkfer Ltd and Partner at Wasteless, Sell More, Waste Less.

​

My ambition in founding Grovewood was to leverage this experience and knowledge to help brands, of all sizes, to address their operational and commercial challenges. So far, I have been fortunate to have been involved in some really exciting projects and I am always on the look out for more!

As a bi-lingual (English/French) with dual UK and Irish nationality, I am keen to explore opportunities in France and beyond!
